Meet Our Staff
I have lived in Slave Lake for many years, and have four children. I grew up in St. Albert with my two sisters. My family loves being involved in our school, church, and worship. My passions are teaching, music, worship, and reading. I have a B. Ed degree from the University of Alberta in elementary education, with a major in Language Arts and a minor in Religion. As well as my Certification in Early Childhood Development. Christian Education is very important to me, especially since teaching the public system, as we are free to pray, study the bible, and integrate God's word into our day.
I was born and raised in Belize, Central America. My family moved to Ontario when I was 10, where I lived for about 13 years, before moving back to Belize. I came to Alberta in 2002 and moved to the Slave Lake area in 2014 with my son. I grew up in a Christian home and attended Christian schools for most of my education. I love spending time with my son, and I enjoy baking, playing games, and quilting.
I am brand new to Slave Lake. I grew up in Sturgeon County on an acreage with 4 brothers. This is my 1st year teaching, and I believe Christian education provides an opportunity to learn in a protected and safe environment. I also believe extra-curricular activities are a crucial part of the school experience. I love spending time with my wife, Hannah, and playing and watching sports. I grew up in a Christian home and was blessed with parents who were a great Godly example to me. I continue to strive to seek God and make Him the foundation of my life.
