​Successful applicant will possess the following skills & characteristics:
  • A vibrant Christian faith, demonstrating strong Christian values
  • Willing to teach some hours at a K-9 level
  • The ability to make Biblical values an integral part of school life and integrate them into all subject matter.
  • Understanding of special needs learning strategies and lesson differentiation an asset
  • Experience in Drama, Art, Music, and/or Sports an asset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and team members in a professional learning community
  • Possess strong, positive interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programs
  • Able to design effective strategies to meet students’ diverse learning needs
  • Willing to teach some courses 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Education
  • Alberta Interim or Permanent Teaching Certificate or Letter of Authority
  • Adherence to the SLKCS Statement of Faith, without reservation
  • Fluent in English
  • Canadian resident
  • LQS Certification
  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience
